JX-1E3-S Overview
The Juniper E3 PIMs provide the physical connection to E3 network media types, receiving incoming packets from the network and transmitting outgoing packets to the network. The Juniper E3 PIMs are equipped with a dedicated network processor that forwards incoming data packets to the Routing Engine, and receives outgoing data packets from the Routing Engine. During this process, the PIM performs framing and line-speed signaling. -
JX-2E1-RJ48-S Overview
The Juniper Dual-port E1 PIM provides the physical connection to E1 network media type, receiving incoming packets from the network and transmitting outgoing packets to the network. The Juniper Dual-port E1 PIM is equipped with a dedicated network processor that forwards incoming data packets to the Routing Engine, and receives outgoing data packets from the Routing Engine. The Juniper G.SHDSL PIM (Physical Interface Module) provides the physical connection to G.SHDSL network media types, receiving incoming packets from the network and transmitting outgoing packets to the network. The Juniper Networks single-port ADSL2/2+ Mini Physical Interface Modules (Mini-PIM) for the SSG 20 platform complement the five onboard 10/100 Ethernet interfaces with expanded WAN connectivity. The ADSL2/2+ Annex A (over POTS) and ADSL2/2+ Annex B (over ISDN) both include one physical port with support for ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL2+ protocols. -

LN1000-V Overview
The LN1000-V Mobile Secure Router is an embedded router that operates in both wire-line and wireless environments with communication nodes that are either mobile or stationary. The router provides reliable and secure data, voice, and video services. The LN1000-V processes WAN and LAN routing functions. The router offers multiple DiffServ classes and can interleave lower priority real-time data (voice traffic) with higher priority non-real-time data. It is developed on 3U compact node slot interface (VITA) architecture as defined in the VITA 46.0 IEEE 1101.2 specifications and runs Junos OS for routing, forwarding, and security. -
M320-FPC2-E3 Overview
Flexible PIC Concentrators house PICs and connect them to the rest of the PFE. FPCs parse, prioritize, and queue the packets before forwarding them across the midplane to the appropriate destination interface. On egress, FPCs prioritize, queue, re-assemble, and forward packets out through the appropriate port. Up to four PICs can be mixed and matched within a single FPC slot, increasing configuration flexibility and network scalability, while maximizing POP efficiency. -
