The Cisco UCS C220 M4 LFF rack server is a server from Cisco, designed for both performance and expandability over a wide range of storage-intensive infrastructure workloads from big data to collaboration. The enterprise-class UFCS C220 M4 LFF server extends the capabilities of Cisco's Unified Computing System portfolio in a 1U form factor. In addition, the UCS C220 M4 SFF server provides 24 DIMM slots, up to 4 drives and 2 x 1 GbE LAN-on-motherboard (LOM) ports delivering outstanding levels of density and performance in a compact 1U package. The C220 M4 SFF server includes a modular LAN on motherboard (mLOM) slot for installation of a Cisco Virtual Interface Card (VIC) or third-party network interface card (NIC) without consuming a PCI slot in addition to 2 x 1 GbE embedded (on the motherboard) LOM ports. These features combine to provide outstanding levels of internal memory and storage expandability along with exceptional performance.
