It is i7-6920HQ part of the Skylake generation and has a base frequency of 2.9 GHz. If higher performance is needed, its cores can be automatically overclocked (TurboBoost), and the frequency can reach: 3.4 GHz – when all of them are used; 3.6 GHz – when two of them are used; and 3.8 GHz – when only one is used.The chip also features 256 KB first-level cache, 1 MB second-level cache and 8 MB third-level cache. Core has been manufactured through a 14 nm process and it includes an integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 GPU. Its base frequency is 350 MHz which can be increased up to 1050 MHz thanks to the Turbo Boost option.
